      <image:caption>By using intersectional gender-based (GBA+) analysis, we can ensure post-pandemic recovery centres the communities most affected by this crisis. We need analysis on both the differential impacts of COVID-19 as well as when designing equitable policies, practices and programs. One of the most significant actions the government can take now is to mandate the collection of disaggregated data on the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic along these multiple dimensions of social identities. This data would allow policymakers to assess whether post-pandemic economic recovery policies are having intended effects, or if they are widening inequities. They could also allow policymakers to pivot programs and policies to better reduce inequities.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Le plan - 4. Investir dans des emplois de qualité</image:title>
      <image:caption>4.1 Légiférer pour que tous les travailleurs bénéficient d'au moins 14 jours de maladie payés et de congés familiaux payés, afin que tout le monde - en particulier celles et ceux qui occupent des emplois de première ligne - puisse protéger sa santé et celle du reste de la population. 4.2 Payer, par le biais de l'assurance-emploi, pour le recyclage et le développement professionnel dans tous les secteurs pour les personnes ayant perdu leur emploi. Quant aux personnes inadmissibles à l'assurance-emploi, créer d'autres voies en vue de soutenir financièrement le recyclage et la reconversion. 4.3 Abaisser le critère national uniforme d'admissibilité à l'assurance-emploi à 360 heures et augmenter le taux de prestations de 55% à 85% du salaire pour les personnes à faible revenu. 4.4 Légiférer sur la protection de l'emploi des personnes en situation de handicap qui sont incapables de remplir leurs fonctions en raison du risque de contracter la COVID-19 ainsi que sur des obstacles systémiques tels que le manque d'accès aux transports accessibles.</image:caption>
